Mr. Gaylord joined Arbor Commercial Mortgage in September 2008 as a Director in Arbor’s Austin, TX office. He is responsible for originating Fannie Mae, FHA, CMBS, Bridge, Mezzanine and Preferred Equity transactions throughout the western United States. 

Prior to joining Arbor, Mr. Gaylord served as Vice President, Regional Manager at Principal Financial Group. In this position, he specialized in the origination of Small Balance Loans for commercial and multifamily properties in the western United States.

Before Principal Financial Group, Mr. Gaylord was Vice President for First California Bank, where he assisted in the development of a commercial small loans division in Southern California whose production during the first year of operation exceeded $200 million. Additionally, Mr. Gaylord has held positions at Imperial Capital Bank, Southern Pacific Bank, Troxler Commercial Capital, The Money Store and The Daniel Horwitz Company.

He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Finance with a minor in Management Information Systems from California State University.
